Trader Village

As per my recent communication the tag along to Trader’s Village scheduled for June 1-2 has be canceled, or should I say postponed until a better time. This is something that I would still like to do, so with your input we will try to reschedule.

Quartzsite 2020

I recently put out information on a tag along back to Quartzsite for the RV show in 2020. We have four rigs signed up so far but I need to remind everyone that Black Rock RV park in Brenda AZ agreed to hold 8 sites until the end of May. That would be this coming Friday May 31. If you think that you might be interested call 928-927-4206 and tell them that you are with the Traveling Supremes. Just be aware that this is the slow time in Arizona RV parks so the office is only open from 8:00 – 12:00 Mon. thru Friday mountain time. To add to the confusion Arizona does not observe daylight savings time so this time of year mountain time and pacific time are the same. Anyway….try to call when the office is open.

Buena Vista, Chama, and Business Meeting

Trader’s Village update

Hello everyone,

I spoke with Tori Brooks at the Trader’s Village RV park and she tells me that there are only two rigs reserved for the June 1-2 weekend. If this is correct I am thinking of rescheduling this event for maybe sometime in the fall. One of the things that I failed to realize was that many people may be involved in graduation events that particular weekend. If in fact there are more rigs registered then please let me know as soon as possible and we will go ahead with the plans.

If not, I will be glad to hear suggestions on when would be a more favorable time. I plan to contact the park tomorrow 05/21/19 based on feedback from club members. Thanks!

Wagon Master’s Report

Hello Traveling Supremes,

Well we just finished our West Memphis gathering hosted by Ted and Susan Kercher. They did a great job and we all had a great time despite the rainy weather. Love that Memphis BBQ! If you missed this one there are plenty more opportunities to join in the fun.

In June we have a tag a long to Trader Village in Houston. Check in May 31 and check out June 3rd. Call Tori Brooks at 281-890-5500. More info Here

Then in July we have a gathering in Buena Vista Colorado hosted by the Butauds and the Hoovers. Check in July 21st and check out July 28th. The blocked off sites at Mt. Princeton RV were released in March but you still‎ may be able to get in by calling Cindy at 719-395-6206. Join us and escape the summer heat in the mountains of Colorado! More info Here

From there we go to Chama NM. The Gathering dates are August 18th to the 25th but as most of you know many members come and go at various times. Another great way to escape the heat in the mountains. Sky Mountain RV doesn’t open until May 15th ( it snowed in Chama yesterday) but call 575-766-1100 or go online to start making your reservation but do it soon as this park is very popular! ‎Then we will have the annual business meeting in Ruston LA at Lincoln Parish park 318-251-5156. Check in Sept 21st and check out Sept 27th. More info Here

That rounds out our current schedule for 2019 but I’m always open to ideas. We are also in search of a host for the next new year’s rally. I am also considering another tag a long to Quartzsite next January so let me know if you might be interested.

Traders Village tagalong

If you’ve never been to a Texas Trader’s Village event, now is the time to fix that. This is an extremely popular event, and we have got special rates at their very nice RV park. Arrive Friday, May 31st and depart ‎Monday June 3rd. You can arrive early or stay late but they have offered a reduced rally rate for those dates if we have 10 rigs. There are 12 sites blocked off.
