Quartzsite followup

Hello Supremes, 

I have some information on the Quartzsite 2022 tag-a-long. We will be at Black Rock RV in Brenda on Jan 22 (check in) to ‎Jan 29 (check out) (7 days). Their number is 928-927-4206.

Then on Jan 29, we will ‎leave there and drive the 90 or so miles to Yuma to check into West Wind RV Resort. We plan to stay 9 days and check out Feb 7. The number is 866-440-2992. Ask about the 1/2 price special and use my name to be near the group. They said to pass along that anyone interested should call soon. I’m not sure how long West Wind will have the special. This is a tag-a-long so these dates are just what some of us are doing, but you can set any dates you want.

Arizona update #1

Hello Traveling Supremes,

Well, another Arizona tag along is in the books. Five rigs camped at Black Rock RV in Brenda Arizona. Brenda is located just off I 10 about 12 miles east of Quartzsite. Those who attended were the Kerchers, Hoover’s, Marrs, Merriman, and Stowes. 

We started out in Brenda Arizona at Black Rock RV. Brenda is about 12 miles East of Quartzsite where the annual RV show is held. The show went on despite covid, but the crowds were way down. The plus side was that parking was a lot easier than usual. 

While we were there, something unusual happened. It rained! Actually it rained a lot. So much that on the last day of the show, the big tent got flooded! I didn’t know it even rained in the desert! 

Quartzsite 2021

We are returning to Quartzsite Arizona in 2021. This will be a tag along with no agenda other than fun! We are staying at Black Rock RV Village in Brenda, AZ, some 12 miles East of Quartzsite. Check in Jan. 16th and check out Jan. 25, 2021. Call 928-927-4206 and talk to Kelly. She said to tell her to put you close to the Hoovers. Be sure to ask her to explain the cancellation policys. The Cafe is open and the shuttle will be running. After Quartzsite we may go down to Yuma, but more on that later. For more info, you can call Jim. You can also search Quartzsite 2021 RV show.

Quartzsite 2020

Hello everyone….

A few of you have expressed an interest in going back to Quartzsite so we’re going to do a tag along again in 2020. ‎The show dates are Jan. 18th through the 26th, 2020. I called two parks in Brenda, about 12 miles from the big show in Quartzsite. Black Rock was the first and only one to return my call so we will stay there again. It is a full hook up park and offers a shuttle to the show several times daily. They have agreed to hold 8 sites but only until the end of May due to the popularity of this event so call them at 928-927-4206. Be sure to tell them that you are with the Traveling Supremes. Be sure to read the cancellation policy closely. This will be a tag along so no real agenda just fun and fellowship!

Buena Vista update

Picture of Hoovers and Butauds having lunch in Breckenridge at “The Lost Cajun ” restaurant. Easy day trip from BV. Drive from Buena Vista takes you through the towns of Fairplay and Alma. On the way, you go over Hoosier Pass at about 10,500 feet. Lots of shops and restaurants in Breckenridge. Trip was well worth the time.

Tomorrow, Jim and Lou will be “scouting” other RV parks in the BV area.  BV continues to impress with what it has to offer.

There was some misunderstanding in the original post here, about putting member names and emails on line.  That is NOT going to happen.  What we should have said is to find a way for members who want it to automatically be notified of any new posts.  This is already in our system, just click the “Follow” button (left side, under the menus), enter your email, and you will get the latest updates.  Your name will NOT be posted or otherwise used.  Don’t add your email, you won’t get updates.

Hope this clears up confusion based on my interpretation of the original request.
