Bill Water and Bobby Skinner

For those that knows Bill Water, a past president of our TS club, he found out he has kidney cancer and a few spots on his lungs. Wife Geneva has not been in good health for awhile so they both need you prayers.

For some of you who may not have heard, Bobby Skinner has passed away and was buried in Bay City this week. Keep Nancy in your prayers too as she now has much to take care of in Blooming Grove. Hope everyone else is doing ok and hope to see some of you in Chama or at a future rally/gathering.

Sault Ste Marie Gathering

From Susan Kercher

Ted and I have been in Sault Ste Marie with four other Traveling Supreme rigs since Saturday, July 15, 2017. We have had some great meals together including a delicious gumbo made by Ken Wellock and Marie Moreau! We’ve watched lots of ships go by on the lake every afternoon and have had lots of great conversations! We all depart on Saturday! This has been a great gathering!

Buena Vista update

The Buena Vista Tagalong has seen additional participants.  Recently, in addition to the Butauds, we have Gene and Sarah Fisher, Jerry and Hessie Smith, and Jim and Tim Hoover stop by.  A few of the many things to see and do in this area:

The Fishers, Smiths and Butauds attended a local theater production of “Madams of Central Colorado” on Saturday, July 8. This play recounts a bawdy side of BV history. It is based on factual events from the mid to late 1800s and early 1900s. The production is performed in the old Chaffee County Courthouse, which also serves as a museum. Performances are done 5 or 6 times each summer.

A nice drive took us to the Continental Divide.  Water that drains on the  east side flows to the Atlantic, and on the west side to the Pacific.   Pizza in Leadville, CO (above 10,000ft. elevation), and whitewater rafting.  So much to do!

BV Update, For Sale section added

For Sale

We are experimenting with a “For Sale” section. It has been added to our main menu.  There are certain rules to follow, be sure to get approval from a TS Officer before sending For Sale info to John Laninga.

BV Tagalong update

From Lou Butaud:  First picture is of Fishers, Smiths and Butauds doing what we do best – eating. Picture was taken at Shallots which is an excellent restaurant in Salida introduced to us by John and Romola Laninga. Second picture is birthday time for Chris and Hessie at Shallots.  Yum!  Cake!
