We will again be escaping the Louisiana and Texas heat and heading to the cool mountain air in Chama, New Mexico. As the old song goes ….. “roll out those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer” and join us in laid-back Chama. This year we’ll include a day trip to Chimayo, NM and visit the El Santaurio de Chimayo where over 30,000 people a year make a pilgrimage during Holy (Easter) Week. And a visit to Chimayo would not be complete without lunch at Rancho de Chimayo which is located in an 1800’s Spanish home and has been a renown restaurant for over 50 years. Make your reservations at Sky Mountain Resort RV Park (575-756-1100) for the week or come early/stay longer if you choose. Remember Sky Mountain is popular and fills up fast.
