Traveling Supreme members are beginning to gather at the Coleta Creek KOA ( for full details click here ). Joyful hellos, hamburgers, RV stories, pizza, even more RV stories, tater tots, and even more RV anecdotes are filling the air. We can expect a wonderful new year event!
It’s not too late to join us! Come join in the fun and bring in the new year in RV style. Below are a few people in the clubhouse. How many do you recognize?
Hope you’re getting excited about our New Years Gathering, because it’s gonna be the best one ever! Lots of rigs are signed up and the hosts have been hard at work on the Agenda. And it is a great one, with lots of activities for one and all.
There will be fun, frivolities, companionship, and some serious historical visits. And not to forget food…. and food…. and food. Diets are to be checked in on arrival and may be reclaimed after the Rally.

We wish all members, their families, and guests a Happy Thanksgiving. One word of warning: before you tackle that turkey dinner, make sure you don’t exceed your RV’s weight capacity!

Finally, the Laningas and the Cooks have made reservation at Port Aransas Port A RV Resort for January 3d through February 3d. This is not a rally or even a gathering, but if you show up maybe it will be! You can get the park info here . This is a high end park but monthly rates are reasonable.
All good things must come to an end, even our New Years Rally. We visited Goldwell Open Air museum, which was closed but still worth a visit. Then we went to Rhyolite Ghost Town, and lunch in Beatty and lunch at the KC Outpost. Some of us then went to Ash Meadows Refuge and then on to do a tour at the Opera House.
On the 11th the Hoovers went home, and the rest of the 14 of us went to lunch at the Furnace Creek Inn, followed by a tour of the magnificent historical hotel.
Sadly, we had to say goodbye and head for our respective homes (or next campsite). Thanks to all for attending, and especially to Ted and Susan Kercher for setting up an excellent New Years Rally! To see the full report, click here.
