Annual Business Meeting Rally

Onalaska/Lake Livingston KOA

September 25, 2017 – September 29, 2017

Every year our club sponsors and partially funds an Annual Business Meeting Rally. The rally is hosted by a past club president. This year the rally will be held Monday (arrival) September 25 through Friday (departure) September 29 at the Onalaska KOA on beautiful Lake Livingston. Eighteen lake view spots have been reserved. Five are pull-in view spaces and the remainder are back-in view spaces. The rate is $38/night and eligible for a 10% discount if you are a KOA member. There is no Rally fee.  Address is 15152 US Hwy. 190 West, Onalaska, TX

In addition to our Business Meeting, several fun activities are planned. One day we will travel to Huntsville, TX and tour the Texas State Prison Museum (see old Sparky), the home of Sam Houston located on Sam Houston State University campus and the Texas Veterans Memorial Museum. Another day trip promises a true East Texas experience. Off the beaten track outside of Livingston, TX is the home and private collection of a 92-year old man and his family. The grounds and several quaint buildings house petrified wood, precious and semi-precious gems, minerals, jewelry, unique gifts and even a music room where the owner delights in singing songs he wrote and sharing stories of music icons he’s known. For our club shoppers, both Huntsville and Livingston have antique stores to explore. Another special activity features past club members Gary and Terri Bogel who live nearby and who have agreed to join us bringing their pontoon boat to give us rides on the lake! It’ll be great to see the Bogels again.

Sites are limited so reserve your space by calling the KOA at 936-646-3824. Mention you are part of The Traveling Supremes rally.  Check out this view at the campground:
