2022 Quartzsite

Hello Supremes,

The RV show in Quartzsite Arizona is set for January 22nd to Jan 30th 2022 according to the website quartzsitervshow.com. Some of us  have made reservations for the 22nd to the 29th.  If you are interested, call soon so you can get a site close to the group. We are at Black Rock in nearby Brenda. Call 928-927-4206. Jane is the group coordinator, but I think anyone can help you. You will have to put up a deposit, but you can get most of it back if you cancel outside of 30 days. Be sure to review the cancellation policy. As always, be sure to tell them you are with the Traveling Supremes. Also be aware that this is a tag-a-long, so come and go as you wish.

Some of us will go on to Yuma, so I will send additional information in a day or two.

Big Bend Tag-a-long

Hello Traveling Supremes,

I am pleased to announce that we are planning a tag-a-long to Lajitas, TX just outside of Big Bend National Park. Please check out the posting under “Rallies ” > “Upcoming rallies”. Or, just click here: https://travelingsupremes.com/2020-big-bend-np/

There you will find the information that you need to make your reservation. ‎The days will be warm so the activities will include sightseeing and meals, but no strenuous hiking. The evenings should be pleasant. They also have a pool and clubhouse. If you have questions, call Susan or myself. 

PS: For all you eagle eyed RVers, the motor home shown on the Maverick Ranch RV Park home page is…. wait for it…. a Travel Supreme select!

Photo challenge!

Here’s a neat idea, brought to us from our President Susan Kercher. Let’s have a photo challenge! Not sure what that is? Well, hang on…..

Your challenge will be to post one picture of any Traveling Supreme member of members, from any time or event. It would be nice if you also posted when and where the picture was taken. Let’s get some memories started!

You may be aware that we have a Facebook community page. You can go there from the search bar on top of the Facebook page. Just type in Traveling Supremes. You have to be a member to post here, if you’re not a member, it’s easy… just press the “Join” button and wait for a note letting you know you are a member. No credit cards, no forms, that’s it. You can now fully participate in any discussion, or start one of your own.

Once you are in the Community, you have many options. A few lines down you’ll see a section in a blue box labeled “Contact us”, and right below that you see the option “Publish”. Touch that and you will see this screen:

Now you can type whatever message you want. Below that is a green Photo button, press that and you will be able to select any photo in your camera roll. One note… if you’ve never done this before you will be asked if Facebook can access your pictures. Answer Yes.

You also have the option of adding a Check-in (where this picture was taken), how you feel about it, even open your camera and take one. Once complete, touch “Continue” in the top right and your glorious picture and comments will show up on Facebook for the world to see.

Try it! Any specific questions ask here, or on Facebook, and we’ll try to answer them.

Yard signs

A&E signs, who manufactured our yard signs, has decided to discontinue making the individual yard signs. Too many signs were being returned as the post office bent or damaged them in shipment, and it was not cost-effective to replace the sign.

So if you have a sign fly it proudly, treat it as unique, because you can’t get a replacement.
