After our Annual Business Meeting the James Smith’s, the Cooks, the Braly’s and the Kercher’s took off for New Orleans. We stopped for the night, September 27th, at River View RV Park, a really nice park, in Vidalia, Louisiana. We sat out in the afternoon and went to dinner at Rioux 61 as recommended by some of the Louisiana folks! We all had a great dinner and evening.
The next morning we headed down to New Orleans! We stayed at Ponchartrain Landing RV Park for three nights.
Some of the highlights include the sights and sounds of the French Quarter including Pat O’Brien’s, the WWII Museum (fantastic), beignets at Cafe Du Monde, the French market, dinner at Pascal’s Manale, dinner and entertainment at our campground and more!
I especially enjoyed having never been to New Orleans. It was a fun tag-a-long and today we all headed out for other places!
