Downsizing your coach?

The Cooks and the Phillips travelled to Tampa for the big RV show. As luck would have it, the Smith’s (James and Gail) were there as well. They also ran into the Bayless’s.

Driving these big motor homes is difficult and many people downsize their rigs. The Cooks and Phillips took advantage of the RV show and downsized to a Cricket. They also took the Smiths for a ride. Now they fit into the smallest RV sites!

Actually the Cricket is a cool little electric cart that fits in the back of many SUVs. Great for those huge RV shows as well as getting around the largest RV Park.

Traders Village tagalong

If you’ve never been to a Texas Trader’s Village event, now is the time to fix that. This is an extremely popular event, and we have got special rates at their very nice RV park. Arrive Friday, May 31st and depart ‎Monday June 3rd. You can arrive early or stay late but they have offered a reduced rally rate for those dates if we have 10 rigs. There are 12 sites blocked off. Call 281-890-5500 and ask for Tori Brooks. Tell her that you are with the Traveling Supremes.  This is a tag along so there won’t be a host or agenda. Rally added, updates

Freshly added is a spring rally hosted by Ted and Susan Kercher at Tom Sawyer’s RV Park in West Memphis, AR. Dates are March 27 to April 1, 2019. Full details on https://travelingsupremes.com/2019-west-memphis/

Finally a few typo corrections were made and the 2019 Business Meeting corrected, it was incorrectly linked to the 2018 Business Meeting.

Planning for 2019

Here are some preliminary details of a few events planned for 2019. As more details are added you will find complete information in the “Rallies” option on the main menu (on the left). Also, we will let you know through the blog as others are added. Stay tuned!

Buena Vista, CO

July 21-28, 2019. Buena Vista Gathering at Mt. Princeton RV Park. Hosts are the Hoovers and the Butauds, reservations have been made for 10 sites. You can reserve no by calling the park at 719-315-6206.

Chama, NM

August 18-25, 2019. Chama Gathering at Sky Mountain Resort. No host, just a great gathering in the cool mountains of New Mexico. Actually, many will be staying a month or longer, just make reservations early as the park fills up fast. Cal 575-766-1100.

Business Meeting

September 23-27, 2019. Year end business meeting at Lincoln Park in Ruston, LA. Hosts are the Executive Council. Small park, close to everything. We have spaces reserved, but pick your own as you arrive. Park phone is 318-251-5156

For Sale section added

We have had several requests to add a For Sale page. While we do not want to compete with Amazon or eBay, there is some value for members to sell specific items to fellow members. So we have added a For Sale page in the Members section.

Note that items will be listed for 90 days only. There is no charge and we can use pictures, please send them no bigger than 2400 pix on one side in JPEG format. If that doesn’t make sense to you just email you web master and I’ll be glad to help.

So from the main menu, touch the < down button next to the Members option and you will see the For Sale page.
