The Buena Vista Tagalong has seen additional participants. Recently, in addition to the Butauds, we have Gene and Sarah Fisher, Jerry and Hessie Smith, and Jim and Tim Hoover stop by. A few of the many things to see and do in this area:
The Fishers, Smiths and Butauds attended a local theater production of “Madams of Central Colorado” on Saturday, July 8. This play recounts a bawdy side of BV history. It is based on factual events from the mid to late 1800s and early 1900s. The production is performed in the old Chaffee County Courthouse, which also serves as a museum. Performances are done 5 or 6 times each summer.
A nice drive took us to the Continental Divide. Water that drains on the east side flows to the Atlantic, and on the west side to the Pacific. Pizza in Leadville, CO (above 10,000ft. elevation), and whitewater rafting. So much to do!
