Lake Bruin
Though there were few RV Club members present at Lake Bruin thatdid notkeep us fromhaving a grand time. The lake is very nice with beautiful cypress trees on the edges and piers going out over the water for viewing and fishing. We were there on the water's edge with trees all around us, a great peaceful setting for R & R time. We enjoyed seeing the Winter Quarters Home and the surrounding farming community.
Lincoln Park
Lincoln Parish Park in Ruston was unique parking areas designed like fingers along the water’s edge and we each had a finger space to back the rig upon. We did some touring including the Coca Cola Museum in the Monroe area, and for me our Saturday run to Arkansas to see Mary Vann was delightful. She was so happy to have us there and we enjoyed lunch with her at Bar-B-Q House. We even did the group picture thing with her at her home.

The farmer in Burnel really came out at Lincoln Park, there were ducks, very friendly ducks, who came up to the RV for groceries. SoBurnel went to Tractor Supply and bought 10 lbs. of Corn to feed his duck buddies. Were they ever happy to see him come out of the RV. He went all around the lake and fed 5 different groups of ducks. Now they are looking for that corn and cannot find the feeder anymore!!
For those not present, sorry you missed a wonderful, relaxing week. Hoping to see everyone down the road and please travelsupremely and safely.
