Buckley Old Engine Show Rally

August 18 – 22, 2010

Rally Hosts:
Kay and Henry Hauffe
Ken and AnneMarie Wellock

Well here we are folks… It’s time to update the rally information.  The rally will start on Wednesday August 18th and we will not be able to occupy the campground before then.  The reason is that the fair is the week prior and there will still be campers in the campground.

Our rally schedule follows:

Wednesday, August 18th - Welcome social 5PM, BYOB, evening meal provided by the rally to follow.

Thursday, August 19th - Old Engine Show Opens, evening meal on your own.

Friday, August 20th - Old Engine Show, fish fry at the campground 6PM.

Saturday, August 21st - Old Engine Show, Sightseeing, Pot Luck 6PM.

Sunday, August 22nd - Old Engine Show last day, Sightseeing, Fellowship at CG.

Monday, August 23rd - rally ends, farewell continental breakfast.

Anyone wishing to stay longer is welcome.  There is no time limit on your stay.  Camping will be $20 per night if we have less than 15 units.  If we have 15-25 units it’s $17 per night, over 25 units it’s $15 per night.  The rally rate will apply to your entire stay.  We have 30 sites blocked out for the rally.

Our rally fee remains $15.00 per rig payable to the Traveling Supremes.  Send your check to Maria Rickles by 30 June 2010.  This year’s entry fee for the show was $10.00 per day or $25.00 for a four-day pass.  Please make your reservation with Kay and Henry or Anne Marie and Ken by June 30, 2010.

The Old Engine Show had some 900+ restored tractors, assorted hit/miss engines, and various other curiosities including washing machine engine driven toys. It is a hoot for those of us that remember some of these things from our childhood. There is also a flea market selling anything and everything imaginable.

Your rally Hosts are Ken & Anne Marie Wellock and Kay & Henry Hauffe. The campground is located in Blair Park about 7 (seven) miles North of Buckley. It has 50 amp electricity at every site with shared water spigots and a dump station.
